Associate Vice President and Vice Chancellor for Research

The associate vice president and vice chancellor for research, Bloomington, will play a central leadership role in research development and fostering large-scale interdisciplinary research, including engaging and amplifying the expertise of IU Bloomington faculty. This leader will be responsible for research goals outlined in the university's strategic plan, including those specific to IU Bloomington. Reporting jointly to the IU vice president for research and the IU Bloomington chancellor, this role will serve as an active and contributing member of both the IU research and the chancellor’s leadership teams, ensuring close collaboration between the two administrative units and with Bloomington faculty, academic leadership, external partners, faculty across the university, and others as appropriate.
