Taking IU Classes

Advancing your education

One of the great advantages of working at an institution of higher learning is that degree programs and certificates are available to qualifying full-time employees at a reduced cost through the IU Tuition Benefit.

What you need to know before you get started:

  • You must apply for and be admitted to degree and certificate programs that interest you
  • If you are unable to complete the degree or certificate program outside of your usual work schedule, confer with your supervisor
  • The IU Tuition Benefit for graduate-level courses will be added to your taxable income
  • Fees, food, and housing expenses are not discounted
