Diabetes Management

Take control of your diabetes

Managing diabetes takes daily attention, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. With your IU-sponsored health insurance, you have access to comprehensive coverage and support resources to prevent or manage diabetes.

How to get started

Step 1: Create an account on the Marathon Health Patient Portal.

Step 2: Schedule an in-person or virtual chronic condition management visit through the patient portal or mobile app, or by calling +1-866-434-3255.

Step 3: During your visit, you’ll discuss your medical history, review your medications and goals, and collaborate with your provider to create a care plan. They will also set up your free supplies and schedule any recommended follow-up care.

Step 4 (Optional): Meet with a Marathon Health coach for one-on-one support related to nutrition, physical activity, weight management, tobacco cessation, or stress management.
