We want to make sure you have access to the dental care you need during your residency. Your IU medical plan includes a comprehensive dental plan through Cigna at no cost to you.
Here’s how your dental plan works:
- PPO network: You can choose any licensed dentist, but you’ll receive higher benefits when you visit a dentist in the Cigna Dental PPO network.
- Out-of-network coverage: If you see a dentist outside the network, you’ll pay the dentist directly and then file a claim with Cigna for reimbursement.
