Subsidy Amounts Per Semester/Term

Tuition benefit amounts for the 2025-26 academic year

You or your qualifying family member have applied to Indiana University and you’ve applied for the tuition benefit before the deadline.

How much can you save on tuition costs?

For dependent children

Dependent children of IU employees receive 50 percent off the in-state, undergraduate tuition rate. The tuition benefit can continue until they complete a bachelor’s degree or reach 140 credit hours of IU tuition benefit awards, whichever comes first. The benefit does not apply to audit hours or graduate courses.

For spouses

A flat-dollar subsidy towards tuition costs is available based on the campus where they’re enrolled.
