Part-Time Positions

$10.15 is the minimum wage for all part-time hourly employees of Indiana University. This includes student part-time and work-study appointments.

Please note when a part-time employee’s primary work location is outside of Indiana, that state’s minimum wage must be considered in addition to the IU minimum wage.

When submitting a Hire eDoc for a Part-Time position, please include a brief description of the responsibilities to be performed by the position. This expedites the review of Hire eDocs.

If an employee has multiple jobs at IU, departments should ensure the combination of jobs the employee is working is complaint with the Valid Multiple Job Combinations.
