Important Information for Employees

Protecting the IU Community (I Protect U)

  • All academic and staff employees, students, contractors, suppliers, vendors, and visitors are required to wear face masks in all hallways, elevators, public spaces, common areas, cubicles, and when entering all IU buildings. 
  • Staff and faculty who violate COVID-19 health and safety directives are subject to disciplinary action according to policy UA-21.
  • Violations of COVID-19 health and safety directives can be reported online.
  • Staff and faculty are to participate in contact tracing and mitigation testing.
  • COVID-19 related leaves for specified reasons related to COVID-19 are available through Dec. 31, 2020.
