Help & Resources for Bloomington Applicants

Tips for a successful Bloomington job search

We work to remove barriers to success by providing Bloomington applicants with the means to access computers, skill-building workshops on tools like Microsoft Office, and the knowledge to advocate for yourself—both as a community member and as a potential IU employee. We’ll meet you where you are so that you can move forward with confidence.

Computer and skill resources

If you don’t have access to a computer, you can apply for jobs on campus at the Herman B Wells Library at the corner of 10th and Eagleson.

And whether you're looking to build new skills or refresh your knowledge, there are valuable training opportunities available both on and off campus. Library card holders can access LinkedIn Learning for free through the Monroe County Public Library, while IU’s IT Training & Education offers a variety of free and paid workshops through University Information Technology Services (UITS).
