IU Staff and Faculty Clinic


The IU Staff and Faculty Clinic would like to help employees stay healthy by offering the following immunizations recommended for adults ages 19 and older.

Immunization Dosage Recommendation Suggested Age
HPV (men and women) Three doses for those who never received the vaccine as a child Ages 19 - 26
Influenza (Seasonal Flu) Annually Ages 19 and older
MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) One dose Ages 19 and older
Pneumococcal (Pneumonia) One dose Ages 65 and older (younger with certain medical conditions)
Td/Tdap (Tetanus, Whooping Cough) Tdap one time, then a Td booster every 10 years Ages 19 and older
Varicella (Chickenpox) Two doses for those who never received the vaccine as a child or have not had chickenpox Ages 19 and older
Zoster (Shingles) One dose Age 50 and older

There are also certain vaccinations recommended in specific circumstances that protect against Hepatitis A and B or Meningitis.  With all vaccinations there are exceptions to all these recommendations, especially if pregnant and/or dependent on your health history. The staff at the clinic would be happy to discuss those with you if you have a question.
